How it all started
Tomas has fulfilled his dream. He plays in the starting line-up of West Ham United in the English Premier League and at the age of 26, he is the eighth most valuable defensive midfielder in the world.
Childhood
Sport environment was part of Tomas´ childhood. His dad was a football player, a mother handball player, this guaranteed him time spent with the ball at his feet or in his hands. Tomas was introduced to football by his father, who also became his first coach.
Football idols
Tomas was looking for inspiration in his football idols. He admired the pair of Arsenal players, the Czech midfielder Tomáš Rosický and Spanish player Francesco Fabregas.

in Slavia
At the age of 10, he participated in a football camp, where he attracted the attention of SK Slavia Praha coach and the cooperation has begun! Tomas moved to Prague because of football, where he gained the most valuable experience in training, but also during "football with friends" or on his favorite futsal (Hanspaulka).

FC Slovan Havlickuv Brod
From the age of 5, he trained as a striker in his hometown.
2005 – 2019
SK Slavia Praha
At the age of 10 he got to SK Slavia Prague. He was included in the first team of Slavia in 2014. He had to fight hard for his place in the team and before he gained it, he was appeared in Viktoria Zizkov and in FC Slovan Liberec. After returning, he gradually developed into the support of SK Slavia Praha under the leadership of coach Trpisovsky, and became its captain.
2016 – now
Czech national football team
He participated in the junior Euro in Poland in 2017 on behalf of the national team. At the age of 26, he became the captain of the Czech national team, where he forms stable and strong support.
2020 – now
West Ham United FC
The hard work paid off in January 2020, when West Ham acquired him for a six-month loan, which turned into a transfer. Tomas suddenly became the most expensive footballer who moved from the Czech league to foreign league. The total amount exceeded more than half a billion Czech crowns. Partnership of the international tournament EASI CUP 2022
Tomas is the patron of the EASI CUP 2022 project, an international football tournament for people who experience mental illness.
